Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares

Difficulty: Easy Servings: 48 squares

Ingredients

1 c. firmly packed brown sugar

1 c. corn syrup (or liquid honey)

1 c. peanut butter

7 cups Rice Krispies cereal

1 c. chocolate chips

Directions

In large saucepan, combine sugar and corn syrup. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until sugar dissolves and mixture just begins to boil. Remove from heat.

Stir in peanut butter; mix well. Stir in cereal until well coated.


Press evenly and firmly unto buttered 13X9-inch pan. If desired, spread with melted chocolate. Chill until firm before cutting, about 30 minutes.
