1 c. blanched almonds
7/8 c. icing sugar
2 teaspoons almond extract
4 teaspoons water
Run chopping blade in cuisinart and pour in almonds and finely ground them.
With blade still running, pour in sugar, and almond extract, and finally, water until the mixture forms a ball. Stop machine and remove blade and bowl and clean them.
Do not attempt to increase recipe or make subsequent batches of the marzipan without first cleaning the cuisinart since the mixture may clog the machine and blades will be difficult to remove.
